對此，醫師表示，「鬆皮症」是一種罕見疾病，發生機率僅5萬分之一，手術並無法根治，之後仍然會鬆弛下垂，唯一可以做的就是好好照顧皮膚，降低併發症的發生。賽爾莎聽了相當自責，但也只能遵照醫師指示，家人目前細心照顧耶里，避免他的皮膚接觸到髒空氣，並祈禱未來的醫療技術能讓他回復成一般人的模樣。
